Gren Beckett RIP ...

I don't know if any of you lot have ever been on the BSH Faro Run? But if you have and you had any trouble with your bike, then there's a good chance that you'll have met Gren - the English guy who lived down on the Algarve, rode rat bikes all his life and went out of his way to source parts and/or do any welding that needed doing to any bikes on the Run that'd broken down. He was the owner of the 'Portuguese Beer' rat XS400 featured in 100% a few issues back.

I'm sorry to say that he passed away this morning from a heart attack at his home near Silves, leaving a wife, Suzanne, and a son, Max.

The funeral is on Thursday.
