Can anyone help me with a used starter for a Virago xv750 1982 US import.
The drive shaft has sheared and the cost of a new one outweighs the value of the bike.

years and years and years ago, I had a TR1 that had a kick start conversion, and i sold it to a guy and he put it on his 1100 virago, and im told the 1100 bottom end and the 750 are more or less the same

even on the owners club site there are calls for help, have you tried there, or the specialised virago forums?
good luck anyway
