Hate to spoil your fun, but it HAS been done before...
I once saw a tartan painted bike at a rally (in the distant past) somewhere in scotland a few (well a lot) of years back..

The guy who owned it was a spray painter by trade and it was immaculate.
I used to have a photo of it, but it got binned by my ex-wife just before she got binned herself (one of my better life decisions)

Ah,SKYHOOKS!A couple weeks after I first joined my regiment I was told to go to the signals stores and get a dozen skyhooks.Being wise to the old "tartan paint,long stand" jokes I said "Aye right" only to be told by a rather pissed off sargeant that skyhooks were used by the scaleys (signallers) to run phone lines through trees.God I felt a total clown! :eek: :o
