Looks like I've posted enough to be a bona-fide member.
Is the round of virtual drinks customary here?
'Cos if it is I'll have none of this "pint of voddie" garbage.
You'll drink beer and damn well like it!

Oh, it's not the cost, it's the principle ;)
I have a problem with spirits. It's because I appear to have a failure to be able to say that word that begins with s. You know, the one that means half a double.
's got me into lots of trouble before, not being able to say that s word.
what about buying this wussy girl some tea, herbal tea....!!!

I'd have sold me gran to have the bag the bread came in...
Blimey....you still had a gran!
We had to trade ours in before we were born for a pair of odd coloured shoe laces so that little johnny could tie his broken crutches together.

It's not like she was alive! It was the closest we ever got to pork scratchings...
Fair enough then mate......we used to dream of pork scratchings too, nearest we came were the curly corners that are made when you open envelopes. Not that they were our envelopes of course, but we used to open the post for old lady next door in return for letting us lick her windows clean on frosty mornings....aah the economy ice-cream
