Just a quickie, went out to my garage this morning only to find an intruder still up to no good!!! It was a Red Squirel fast asleep on my trikes rear fender snoring away!, now thats cute? wonder what squirel tastes like? (only joking,we only moved up to Scotland to be nearer the wildlife, didn't think we'd get this close though)
See its not all bad news in the world today?

You're lucky it is a red squirel, they are protected now as they are dying out due to the awful american greys. :mad: which are too much competition for them.

We've still got a few pockets of reds around here and the greys are shot as vermin.

We have loads of Reds up here (Galloway Forest) never see greys (i still like the greys but they have caused a few problems, main problems for decline in reds is enviroment destruction and also some idiots released lots of mink up here 5 years ago and they kill everything) we have Red deer,Roe deer,Fallow and plenty birds of prey, its lovely place if your into animals, also what's a traffic light? we ain't got non of them :D
