Yorkshire Pudding Rally (blatant plug)

OK peeps, please reserve the weekend of 6 - 8th August. MAG are restarting the Yorkshire Pudding Rally at Silverwood Campsite - A628 just outside Barnsley. Tickets cost £10 pre-book & £15 otg and can be ordered by contacting myself or via the MAG website - Yorkshire.mag-uk.org. Typical rally events to ensue, bands, disco, ride out & bike show on Saturday, silly games etc. As much support as possible would be appreciated for this event as it hasn't been run for a good few years. Similar rules as Farmyard but without the personal fires - a bonfire is planned on site. So come on, get your hands in your pockets & get booking - please :D

I'm off back to sea on Sunday, but may just be home in time to make the Yorkshire Pudding, that is to make it to the rally, not to make the puddings :confused:

Tug of war - for anyone that hasn't been informed as yet, MAG are trying to organise an inter-club tug o war challenge. At the moment this is going to be held at the rally this year, but hopefully will be extended to other events next year. Basically, we are looking for teams of 8 people to enter this competition - preferably from different clubs/ area groups, to take part. This event has raised a fair bit of sponsorship & consequently cash prizes are up for grabs!!! Free money for dragging other people round a field cant be all bad - well, it works for me cos i have rather a good affinity with gravity - ok im a fat bas.
So, any clubs from any area that could send along 8 people that are up for a laugh, please do so, you never know, there's a chance of going to a rally & ending up back at home with more cash than you set off with!
