camping (tents not the homo thing) stuff

I dont wanna spend a fortune on super Alpine all terrain SAS standard light weight camping gear to pack on my bike. I was wondering if anyone has any recomendations. Last year i used a 2 man tent from teco's £9.99 , a cheep sleeping bag £10.00 and a bed roll cost less than a fiver. The tent didnt have a fly sheet but it was ok if it didnt rain too hard the sleeping bag and roll were great. Absolute bargain.

Anyone got any other recomendations?

While looking for a cheap tent for this year i found a good deal in argos,2 man tent,2 sleeping bag's,2 roll mat's and 2 rucksacks forthe grand sum of £49.00.
If it last's the season it'll be money well spent. :D

At edwardstone...(ere he goes again...lol) there was this chap who would turn up in in a full set of waterproofs, sowesters hat an all..gawd knows how many layers of jumpers...he'd just get **** faced pass out safe in the knoledge that he was gonna be warmer than us buggers in our tents...lol

Many folk fell over him in the dead of night on there way to the khazi...

my mate gaudie turns up to rallies in kiddie tents hes had an action man HQ an a barbie castle jus to name a few! £4.99 cant beat that!

I was led in me pit listening to a fella who'd not long arrived at a rally bragging about a tent he'd aquired off e-bay for the misley sum of a tenner. He went on and on about it being a good deal....then he went quiet, very quiet but all his mates started giggling. I peered out of my tent to see what the joke was and there was this guy stood over a 3' x 2' tent that he was never gonna fit into in a million years. He stood there with his hands on his hips muttering "fecking thing looked bigger in the photo" I was nearly sick with laughter.

Last year at Ogri there was the usual bloke who couldn't find his tent - only he had more reason than most cos someone had moved it. What really made me laff was when some helpful person (trying to keep a straight face) asked "What does it look like?" he said

"How should I fucking know, I only see it once a year! "

i was working our rally last year, drunk people are funny when your not, thay come an ask "i cant find my tent, its a green one" or
"have you seen my mate hes got long hair an a beard" errrrm yeah mate it/hes over there! :D

When arrising out of our kyham quick erect tent, not cheap but fooking good if its pissing down, one shake and its up. Have seen the same bloke at a few rallies a sleep next to his blue harly fat what ever you call em bike thingys.

One morning dolly thought he was dead, bought a cuppa and tapped him on shoulder to see if he was alive! if your looking for him hes the big bloke black leather jacket and jeans!
