just got my zx9r all ready for tt at end of week and so looking forward to it :) bike looks a bit strange with a topbox fitted and saddlebags on but with gf in tow need all that extra room for hair straighteners and makeup.
should be a really good few days away and hope weather holds out for a bit of racing while we are there.

I was there in 2003, one of the best weeks of my life! Even rode my old Kwak GT550 round the mountain course on Mad Sunday (before it was triked!) - slowest thing on the road but I didn't care cos I was THERE!

I have never, ever come across anyone who has been to the TT and said "Nah, don't want to go there again!"

There's is something magical about going there.....

Even climbed up Laxey's Wheel in full leathers! boy did I sweat! Couldn't even stop for a breather on the way up because of the crowd following me up! My legs were like jelly by the time I got to the top!

we went to laxeys wheel last year friar tuck and the whole time was just awesome to say the least :) this is my second trip and are staying in a home stay place near the beach so some midnight bbqs must be done , everywhere you go there are bikes and the atmosphere is great so get your bums over if you get the chance and book well in advance as we only just managed to get tickets

Ian Hutchinson and Michael Dunlop are on another level this year. Listening to this weeks practice sessions has left me in awe of the times those two are putting in, lap after lap. It's not as if everyone else isn't trying either, there have been plenty of laps above the magic 130 mph average, but those two are the outstanding riders this week. I hope the weather for the TT is going to be as good as it has been for practice this week, as we will be in for a historic week of the best road racing on earth. Sub 17 minute laps and speeds of over 133 mph are definitely on the cards.
