Been thinking seriously about building a trike for years, but it got back-burnered a few times. Here to shamelessy nick other people's ideas and add some of my own :)
I was taken by the quick'ndirty idea of simply buying a bolt-on rear end, but might go a different direction, after thinking about what's been said about the shortcomings of them.
Got an idea about that, anyway; and as usual, cost is a major factor.
There are some cracking trikes out there and I'd love to build one like them, but it won't happen. I'm starting with a GS850, one of the two I've had for a few decades, and may eventually put an 1100 engine in it, but that's about as large as I'll go.

Welcome to the Forum, matey! There's a fair few trikers on here, and a healthy knowledge of MSVA and MOT traps, on here to get you through your build.

Now I'm gonna moan at you and ask you to fill in the user CP up on the left hand side, just so we know a little more about you, cos we is nosey like that....

Cheers, guys.
Still weighing up the options and deciding which way to go. Been offered an MX5 rear suspension carrier (but no diff or driveshafts). I might be able to fit an upside-down Sierra diff in that.
The other option is the live axle, with links and coilovers - Scimitars have been handling well with those for decades. I just happen to have one of them lying mouldering in the yard, too.

Some yard you've got there, chap! What else have you got there that just "happens" to be lying around?
