Can you get bolt-on hardtails for Sportsters? I remember seeing them on old British bikes, even had one on a 650 Triumph myself back in the 70's but I don't know anyone who's got one recently. Briz up at Custom Cycle Developments http://www.ccd-briz.com/ I know does very good hardtail frames and also hardtails stock frames. Down your way though I know of AFB in Bridgwater and also Mazchops in Weston who I believe are both good.

I been looking at heartland chopper stuff recently, they do some really nice work, the springer front ends are particularly nice
