further to my other post about my trike and its misfortunes

What I have been told though is the very large tank that was stolen was seen on a bike at the Builth Wells bike show the other week. so If anyone here went to that show could they send me any pictures they have of any bikes with large petrol tanks please..
Many thanks

what type of tank was it, "a large one " is a bit vague and covers a lot of tanks

If you give a really good description of it I'll ask our freelancer who covered the show to check his pics too.

It was a imported Police Harley Tank , very very wide that had had the center panel replaced with a single flush filler cap. I've attached 2 pics, the tanks width was as wide as the top end of the Kawasaki GTR1000 engine in the trike to give you an idea
But obviously its not this colour any more, I was Kingfisher metallic blue when it was stolen but I'm trying to find out what colour it is now.

The bike was in the show/display I do know that much

thanks

Personally i think its ugly as fcuk but it might be what you want,i will try to get some pics and pm you with them. Alternatively i will be at my van in Narberth on sat and probably sunday if you want to look at it, will need to know for definate if you want me to drag it along.

The tank that has been tried as a replacment is a Harley Davidson FXDWG [Wideglide] and thats to narrow for the frame tubes that run under the outside edges of the tank if thats any help :)

this one is flat across the bottom so has to sit on top of the rails and is fixed by a bracket front and rear.so in theory should go on anything
the main problem is that it doesn't really hide any of your framework, but you are more than welcome to try it mate.

Bike shows uk is normally on tuesdays i think but they repeat it through the week. they have different shows on every week so you may have missed it but i'm sure they will show it again.
Have you contacted that bloke from bikersweb? cos he goes round the shows photogrphing em and puts em on cd i think. lol
Have a look on the bweb site.

it was a knee jerk reaction to another phone call on the matter, don't panic it will all come out soon, I'll make a web site with all the details on for everyone to know about what happened to me and others.

Thats all I think I can say :)

My apologies to 100% anything said in my post has/had nothing to do with 100% in any way or form.
