Ditto

I know cafe style
I know street fighter (twin headlights and renthals :D)
I know bobber
I know old school chop (I think)
I know rat, but not quite sure of the difference between them and survivalist.

Bit like there was heavy metal ........... then all of a sudden it became hair metal, thrash metal, death metal, black metal, speed metal. nu metal, groove metal blah blah blah

They're a Japanese take on cafe racer style, often have a little thin seat with no rear hump, small or stock tank, big front tyre and emphasised triangle under the seat with very little rear shock travel, for a tyre hugger guard mounted on the frame. Quite often 400 cc engines because of Jap licencing classes. Cheap and cheerful.

That bike looks very much like the style of bike we used to thrape up and down the local river banks and paths in the 1970's....Seems that my generation created "Brat Style" without even knowing it...:;)

That's pretty much what I wanted to do with my little 100 stroker. But I began to realise it was never going to happen so when I saw a bloke advertising for a small Jap bike to restore, I sold it to him. Not without a tear, that was my first bike and I rode it for 3˝ years including camping/touring with my riding club in Normandy.....

That's the problem with 'styles'.....something either looks right or it doesn't, but once a 'formula' is established, you get loads of lookalikes and originality goes out the window until someone is brave enough to be different (then everyone copies that until the next trend):)

Custom..

Scramblers are dirt bikes and bobbers are standard bikes that all the unneccessary bits have been taken off, as said yours is unique..
