Hi, my latest project will soon be rolling around, and want to get it mot'd just to run it around and see what I like and dont like

I have never had a bike of this age so was wondering shat the score is with MOT?

its a 1989 Y reg, does it need to have indicators?

thanks

1988 (E) onwards must have indicators and mirrors.
Y reg suffix would be 1982 which would be ok without either.
Y reg prefix is about 2001 which would need them.

well I was only about 7 years old when that bike was made LOL, maybe a better comment would have been that I havent had a bike of that sort of age, have had '59 and '69 bsa's and a couple of '75 triumphs, but they were easy to MOT, bloke loved british bikes :)
