Daft Question I Know But How Many Pick Up Coils Are Their On A Fj1200 One Or Two ? ? ?

Thought I Might Have To. I,ll Have To Go This Morning And Order One "go And See The Bank Manager First" But I Cant Work Out How Many It Should Have As I,ve Seen An 87 With One Pick Up Coil Yet When I Asked At The Local Bike Shop They Say Two And Mine Is 86 "i Think" Its In Custom Frame So I Cant Pin Point The Year Of The Engine...

If you have an engine number, you could try the 'Owners club' or even the manufacturer. Also some manuals have a guide to engine age in the front. Helped to sort out the age of an AR125 as the numbers were listed as mentioned.
