Reading MAG’s Summer Rally
1st to 3rd of June 2012
A little over 21 years old (nobody's quite sure) and held every year in June the Lion Rally is one of the largest bike rallies in the Thames Valley area. Starting from Friday afternoon and running until Sunday you will get a wide range of entertainment, stalls, live bands, real ale bar and a chance to chill out with friends, existing and yet to be discovered.
A lovely flat camping is provided for you as are proper flushing bogs.
Day visitors and Families most welcome, under 12's get in free
No dogs or fires are permitted on the site
We run the Lion Rally to have fun and raise money for MAG, to keep us all on two wheels, and rely heavily on our bar to do this.
We are in your hands, so please give us your support and drink, chat and be merry at our renowned bar and don't bring your own booze onto site.
You will find our renowned bar sells an excellent and very reasonably priced range of Real Ale,
Cider, Lager and spirits for your copious consumption.
Its a Bike Rally! So only bikes and trikes are allowed in the camping field.
That said we don't mind you turning up in or on whatever you want but all other vehicles, cars, vans, camper vans, caravans, microlights etc, will be directed to the adjacent car parking field.
If you are disabled and need particular access arrangements or you have one of those tenty caravan things you tow behind your bike or trike please email us in advance so we can arrange to get you in without any fuss.
Car parking is £10 per vehicle
Or free for those holding a Disabled Driver Parking Permit
- Tickets -
Advanced tickets for the weekend are now available at the discounted price of £10 (£11 via PayPal).
(On the gate ticket price £15 on Friday or £10 on Saturday)
For any questions or additional information please email us.
