Hi just purchased a reliant based trike (Xmas present from the wife) it has a reliant Robin rear axle etc looking to change the rear wheels as at the mo it has mazda alloys on it wanting some thing wider just wondered if any one wot other make of car wheels would fit on looking for a pair of the old weller 8 spokes pref of a rear wheel drive toake it more stable on the road any help would be a great help

Think early BMW wheels will fit. Got mine from a company called Demon Tweeks. They sell wheels by the pair and were really helpful with the offset details etc, even if you dont buy from them , they will give you an idea of what will fit. http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/wheels-tyres

It used to be possible to get adapters, that fitted between yer old hub and yer new wheel, and, well, adapted the pitch of the bolts/ nuts, so that you could fit, say, 5-bolt wheels to a 4-bolt hub. This was thirty years ago, mind, so they might bot be available any more. The hot-rodders used to use 'em a lot. Maybe try the ads in Custom Car (if it's still around)?
