Hi
I've only had the one trike and that had a weld or rear end. I am looking at getting another one and a lot of the trikes out theer have bolt on rear ends. What are the iplications of a bolt on, are they safe?

The main reason people build bolt ons is to avoid testing.
Done well they are fine. But beware of bad one's.

LOL
sorry the replies so far not been very helpful LOL
maybe a better reply would be
in my opinion
bolt on rear end like a trikeshop one, ie IRS with multiple pickup points on the frame, yeah they are fine
an extended swingarm style build, NOPE
they are just my opinions, so feel free to ignore me, most do so no offence will be taken LOL
