Chris Hogarth
It is always sad to hear of a death in MAG, as bikers we are a small family to begin with, the loss of a sister or brother seems to happen all too frequently.
On the 1st March we have recieved the following sad news from Eric who was kind enough to keep us informed.

"Hello..My name is Eric Overton..I am a good friend of a former committee member of Darlington MAG...Chris HOGARTH. It is my unfortunate task to inform you that Chris died suddenly at home on Friday 25th Feb. 2005. His partner, Jaqui, has asked me to pass on details regarding the funeral in the hope that a small contingent from MAG will be able to attend..Details are to meet at Darlington Crematorium at 2pm on Tuesday 8th March for a humanistic service followed by a few drinks at North Cowton Village Hall. It would be great if as many bikes as possible turned up..weather permitting of course, all will be made very welcome. Chris has lots of friends around the North East and we will be turning up on bikes wherever possible."

Spread the word.

If you know any of Chris's bike palls please ensure they know and have the opportunity to pay their respects & give the man a good send off.

I live in Catterick, my son actually told me the news the other day. He did not know him as a 'biker' but as our local tattooist. Most of my sons friends got their first tatts at his shop and all were shocked to hear of his death. I have been asked by my son and his friends to give their sincere sympathy to you and Chris's family as well
