Email messages

It seems most folk on here have disabled the emailing facility from this site to them, just wondered if that was deliberate or if folk just didnt know they had, I've been trying to email folk and tell them about the forum members party and cannot use the facility on most addys.

I'm afraid not, sadly the people that spam have software which searches php driven forums (like this) and extracts email addresses...

I hope not, I went through my website and removed all text links to my email address to try and foil the spammers (replaced em with jpgs containing the address). :eek:
