View Full Version : New to trikes, VT500 you may know it!

Hi everyone, i picked up my first trike last week :D. some of you may know it Honda VT500 black with red seat, i think drill666 was selling it on here a while back for a fraction of the price i paid for it on eBay! Was really nice to meet you HELL BOY but im glad my puppy pissed in your garage after seeing what you paid for it! lol

Thought i would pop in and say hello to everyone, my madden voyage is on Tuesday when i take it down for its MOT eeek! iv never ridden a trike before..... wish me luck!

What, you mean MY Vmax?? ok its not really mine :o, a girl can dream, i get to sit on the back.... but i will get to ride it one day if im very very nice to the hubby ;) lol

Hello Gal,got it at a good price then ?:thumbu:.It needs a steering damper and a decent swingarm or hardtail imo ,otherwise it runs very well.I got its big brother 650 Revere that I`ve triked and hardtailed,almost done,see ya out there.Enjoy !!!!! :thumbsu:

I am in Burton Latimer, I can recommend Motorcycle Republic at Molesworth cos I am the mechanic there.

it needs a flippin choke cable as well! was sitting there for ages wondering what was wrong it till i realised, doh! lol

Nerver had a cable when I owned it,I got by.:unsure:

took it for its first run today and bloody hell! didnt get above 10mph and it was wobbling all over the place! front forks are compleatly seized solid. Dose anyone have some going cheap that will fit? come on help a poor gal out lol other than that it was lovely, going to be a nice lil run around :-)
