Driving up to Barnsley tomorrow can anyone round that area tell me what the roads are like. Traveling from Liverpool along the M62
Yes I know they are long and black tarmac things.

Hey there M8...
Roads are not too bad up here right now... they are obviously wet and will freeze tonight... but no standing snow or anything, so you should be ok, as long as it doen't chuck it down tonight...

Barnsleys up north somwhere Liverpool however is to be found at the top of mount Olympus, just across those pearly gates, giving life to Albion this sceptered Isle and in the hearts of free men everywhere.
Thats where you will find Liverpool.
Or page 12 of the 2003 AA road atlas.

Yeah, when you find Liverpool, you will likely find all the property you have 'lost' or had stolen in your lifetime.

he is still a gobsh1te though,,,,,,,,,,,,lol ;)
Ahem, right, where to start.
Firstly, I am not a Scouser. I had the misfortune to be born there, but as the saying goes, just because a man is born in a kennel, it does not make him a dog.
As for being a Southern Poncy Gob****e, well, Southern? No. Poncy? No. Gob****e? Probably, but now where near as much as the average Scouser.
It seems to me that, once again, the much vaunted Scouse sense of humour is glorious in it's absence. It seems to me that the people of Liverpool only have a sense of humour when it comes to slagging other people off. I'm still trying to get over the amount of Munich 58 chants I heard when Man U played Everton last week.
People who would say such things are scum, nothing more, nothing less.

People who would say such things are scum, nothing more, nothing less. Quite agree with the scum part however your stereo typical views about liverpool only reflect poorly on yourself. Its this ridiculous attitude of yours that demonstrates your lack of ability to think for yourself or form a worthwhile opinion and this mental incapacity that you so easily diplay is what is keeping you still in that kennel.

If that were true I would agree with you. However, I generally form opinions from 'ground zero'. Hence, after serving as a bus driver for 4 1/2 years in some of the worst places in Liverpool, being spat at, ripped off, threatened etc by countless scroats, I feel perfectly qualified to say that the public perception of Liverpool is, in the main, not mis-placed. Naturally, there are good people in Liverpool, it is just unfortunate that the view visitors are given is of Chavs on the rob.
It is still a shame that you do not have a sense of humour, and could not take the initial post in the vein it was meant, still, maybe they removed your funny bone when you emigrated across the water.
Cheers

I will appologise for any ill feeling caused by my posts if your original was intended as a joke. Thats the trouble with forums , emails etc the emotion behind them can be mis-read however when humour is meant it is usualy accompanied by an icon to illustrate this.
And my funny bone erm . . . no one laughs at my bone

No worries, I'm sure if you knew me you would have understood that I take very little serious. I now intend to do what I do best, get rendered. See you in a field sometime no doubt.
