i went on the london eye today, splendid view, chelsea ( my daughter ) loved it, she's 15 months, wife sat in the middle sobbing, she forgot to mention the bit that she's scared of heights and this go's up 135 metres. also took them sight seeing and even though i work down there all week, it was a pleasure to have a family day out, cost a f@cking fortune in hamleys though!!!

Londons a great day out, last time I was there I popped into the war museum, as Babs and her family were staying in a hotel just across the road. Hadn't been in there since I was a lad, used to live a 3d bus ride away and spent a lot of my childhood there.....
It's free to get in and well worth a visit.
