Ive had my trike for a few years and never had a problem with mots but on the logbook where it shows weight of trike mine is blank. Is it just a simple case of taking it to a weighbridge then sending off v5 with paperwork off weighbridge.
Cheers
Willie

You don'e actually need a weight on the V5, as long as the classification is 3 or III, you and they know it's below 450kg.

You dont have to have it on the v5.but you have to have proof of how heavy it is so us m.o.t testers can work out the brake efforts and if its a class 3 or 4 on the mot

Yes! But if as he says he's had it for a few years, the classification should be on the V5, you should also have it on computer as a class 3 or 4, as it will have been mot'd previously!

It does say trike or tricycle on v5 cant remember which , but no weight .So if I take it to be weighed and then just send v5 off with confirmation of weight then?

I dont have the weight on the V5 but I was asked for a weight cert at the last MOT.
As Captain says.:D
