just a thourght is there any need to have the brake light and running light in the same unit ?
on my bike i have just fitted a new back light which only has 2 wires feed in and earth so cant rig it up to the bake light?
so can i fit a seperate light which only comes on when the brake is applied?
was thinking of fitting it to the other side of the bike as i have the number plate and light on the left(see pic) as you look at the bike from the back.[/IMG]

i'm holding a brand new maltese cross tail light in my hand now.
it has 3 wires.
one for tail light
one for brake light
one for earth.
so it will work fine.

i sold one of those to south wales via ebay. not you was it?

same price as m&p but my shipping would be less.
theres no problem with the 2 wired ones as they use the mounting bolts as an earth to the frame.
at worse you need to run a wire from a mounting bolt to a part of the frame that will earth to the battery
