as title..
is there a cheap easy way to make homemade internal baffles for inside downtubes..?
only cos i had to remove my silencers(bit rotten)..
the bikes running better than it ever has without them(pod filters and larger jets),but im sure the old bill are gonna give me a tug..tiss a little on the loud side..lol...

we made a few with a bit of tube with holes drilled all over it and wrapped in fibreglass insulation. did the job. kinda

VW beetle flame arresters there about £2.99 each and take a few mins to fit :)
if they the same zize diameter as your downpipes carefully remove - add some more waddin gif u want - then shove it up the pipe - drill small hole add self tap screw :) ( oh dont put screw in from bottom as often will vibrate out as near to teh top as you can.
Whilst you ar edown that end of ya downpiped bet some soft metal straps bend round your downpipes and mount to the frame - will save you having to keep reightening the header stud bolts :)
