First the good.

The brake lever arm for BeEm turned up on Friday. Fitted it on Saturday morning & got a new MOT on the outfit.

Now the start of the bad.

Friday 5:30pm. Work got a call from Mrs Otter while I was getting changed to go home to say don't delay as youngest has got 'Roto' (sp.?) virus and not to delay. Got home and rang 'round the club members so that they would know that I wasn't going to Dragonheartz party that night.

Monday 6.05pm. Cassie-dog-black's visit to the vets. Told that she's got a healthy heart (good), healthy lungs (good), and cancer of the lymph (sp.?) gland and it's spreading down her neck. Told she could last a week, a month, or longer. She was 15 in October and we decided to let her go.

Photo (taken while we on holiday in County Kerry in 1999) of her and her sister who died naturally in May last year. (http://www.paganotter.org.uk/misc/1999.html)

ahhhhhh otter that is sad, I'm sorry hinny :(

and that's a lovely pic of her :)

we had to rush Jess to the vet's Sat night (well, 1am) cos pinrut had left chicken bones in his room and she got one stuck in her throat

was a bit of a worry but the vet fixed her

pinrut would be devastated if anything happened to her cos she's his best friend............

Sorry to hear your news. Best thing is to go out and get a new pet! We did and she doesn't replace your old ones, but makes a great new addition to the family and a great new friend. Believe me!

bella our dalmation is 12 soon, her eyes have clouded a bit and she spends a lot of time sleeping now. the thought of losing her is just too upsetting. dogs are just fantastic animals, they don't sulk, they are not judgemental and the look of genuine happiness on their face when you come home from work is just magic
