Hi folks...
After the help I got about software for accounts yesterday... gonna try again!!!

I need a laptop computer.. nothing fancy just gonna use it for accounts and office type stuff... needs to have a cd writer, and a decent screen for the accounts stuff....no need for fancy sound or graphics...2nd hand would be great... anyone got one they are looking to sell? or does anyone know anywhere i could get hold of one...(can't really afford a new one at the mo)..

They don't just sell to students, but do new and refurbished laptops at really good prices, starting at £79 for a really basic model. One of their offers at the moment is a Panasonic Toughbook with Windows 98 and a DVD-ROM for £199, and on quite a lot of their machines they offer an upgrade with a CD-writer for £30-70. Look at their FAQ for an introduction into what they do.
