any ideas how to fit spoked wheels to my 83 vt500?i hate them cast wheels!

In a nutshell - make 2 plates like huge washers & drill 20 holes around the outer edges for the spokes; put your wheel in a lathe and cut it down to size so your 'washers' fit; drill through and bolt together. (This worked really well to fit a 15" rim on a Comstar wheel)
