Still have the problem thought it might need a air box, i have now built a nice alluminium air box,bike will start and tickover but will not rev but backfires any ideas

is it a diaphram carb if so take out the diaphram and check for pin holes be very thorough as they are hard to spot dismantled a mates carb about three times before we spotted it dab of bostic and hey presto it works :D

are the right leads going to the right plugs one coil should go to plugs 1 and 4 the other goes to 2 and 3 might help

horribly lean? (raise needles a notch or three)

cam timing out? :eek:

inlet valves stuck open / valve clearance zero? (unlikely - it wouldnt tickover)

Have sorted the problem had to change cdi, could do with a tune up now any body know of a mobile tuner in the Wrexham area as the trike is not regesterd yet
