i need helpppppp about msva anyone pls

my m8 is building me a trike im disabled ive heard i dont need an msva the log book is over 10 yrs old as well ive heard that helps as well the thing is we dont know where we go from here what forms we need who to phone up anybody with any help what to do next would be gratefull ive been told i only need a partial inspection as im disabled just want to confirm that as well ty

Talk to Chris he runs the MSVA scheme and has a thread in the workshop
section called what have I let myself in for?

briefly the DVLA can register trikes for disabled people without MSVA.
But you have to deal wiyh them for that.

Vehicles over ten years old are also exempt but that's the age of the vehicle
you are registering. Not the age of the donor vehicle.

If you are building a Trike your old log book is of no use. It will still need an inspection, You will be exempt from some of the SVA depending on your disabilities. Contact NABD as well they know thier beans.
