What were you originally entitled to drive, Class 1 2 or 3

B,BE
car.......car + trailer
C, CE(code102)
C is old class 2
CE is class 1, code 102 is I think restricted to WAG + DRAG ( I`ll ask in another forum)
C1 , C1E(code107)
C1 C1 is 7 1/2 tonners
[b], C1E(code107) is above + trailer ,(code107) will be a weight restriction
D1(code101) D1E(code119)
is buses over 12 passengers
as for the codes, I have 101,107 and 119 and I`m able to drive everything on the road
I`ll double check the codes and get back to you

you have HGV class 1 but are restricted to a drawbar (wagon and drag - due to the 102 code) not a full artic licence. see pic
please don`t tell me your thinking of going driving trucks for a living
OMG.....................DON`T DO IT
tis bad enough I gotta drive 2000km a week, but to make me go drive a 600km round trip down to and around Brentford of friday, was inhuman/cruel
Hi gypsy your licence is the same as mine and i drive class 1 for a living all they did was change the H to L for large probably just some desk jockey justifying there existance :)

Ditto, for job.
but I don`t have the 102 restriction on my licence that gypsy has, coz I learned to drive in a conventional artic set up.

IMHO, the only way he`d remove the 102 restriction would be to take a driving test in a conventional set up, or contact DVLA and plead the 5th

If Gypsy got his licence in the services, couldn't he get a full LGV pleading Grandad Rights or Say that the DVLA have got it wrong and that it should be a full LGV 1 and get the 102 code restriction removed?
Just a thought, tell me to shut up if I'm wrong?

sounds like a class 3, as you cannot exede 8.5 tonne payload, so maximum gross weight would be 16 tonnes. i hope thats useful
Does this mean Gypsy us HGV positive? :D
