Hi folks. I was advised yesterday that an envelope containing a majority of our summer party tickets arrived at it's destination sans tickets.

BUGGRE !!!

Now I know that I've only sold two so far myself, so I can get those changed. The others in our club will know who their's have gone out to. So, if you're offered any white tickets to our Summer Breezer, don't buy 'em. We won't be accepting any thru the gate, no excuses.

They're prolly laying in a gutter someplace, but ya never know.

All our tickets are numbered, you exchange them for a wristband and info pack with the same number at the gate.

If some go missing or a cheque bounces then we remove the relevant wristband packs and this then raise questions if those ticket Nos. are presented at the gate.

New tickets can easily be sent to those on the register who contact us to say they have lost or not received them, and their original allocation cancelled in the above manner.

Happens every year with the postal system. Maidstone sorting office returned 4 tickets that had been found down the back of the sorting machine one year, - they were originally part of 6 that had been sent out.

We learnt this lesson on our first year.

We also don't sell raffle tickets, your wristband number is your raffle draw number, and, as an incentive to keep it on - someone on Sunday Morning wins £100 cash in the draw.

Kids tickets/wristbands are similarly numbered and registered against the accompanying adult and their club (if applicable) - this is a great help in identify lost children and re-uniting them with their parents.
