Was it Fayji that got a belt offa him the other year?
Does leather name badges an all....
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Fayji, i should have that other patch done in a couple of weeks, it's a bit of a bitch :)

The patch has got sewing holes punched in so should'nt be to bad, **** wish i had a vounteer stitcher :)
I can sew leather but only to a certain thickness.....those 'name' patches I can do but only onto thin leather, like 'fashion' style waistcoat thicknesses, couldn't do shade's cos his leather was too thick :cool:

Yeah thick leather can be a problem to sew through, some of the leather i use is 6mm thick.
Best way to do it if you ain't got a leather awl is, put the leather over a lump of wood line up the patch and use a small hammer and a panel pin nail to punch the holes in the leather first, sewing it is easy after that.
