hi having just read trike mag on registering your trike it didnt do me many favours as im not disabled. i have heard that if the trike is just a bolt on back end then it only needs to be mot'd then down to dvla. or would it be best to take it to dvla then mot? because the same eng and frame numbers are all still the same the reg should stay the same. so to sum up:- take to mot then dvla or vicky verky?

Mot, (done on the chassi number as no reg is issued) then dvla

Bolt on back ends on registered bikes.

So you get it MOT'd on the bikes reg, get a weighbridge certificate,TRAILER it to the DVLA, they inspect it, change the class, you keep the reg.

If the bike isn't registered, then it's MSVA time.
