it's kawasaki day at chateau kajir
first, zx10 1988..... good tyres, chain and sprox, fires up on the button lovely sounding motor, no rattles or other 'orrible noises, micron can, everything works fine and dandy, should sail thru an mot .
bad bit ..... rhs fairing middle panel is trashed and held together with gaffer, as is front right indy mount
saw a top fairing on fleabay for 40 quid and a side panel for about 15, so not an expensive fix.....

also breaking a 2001 speedfight 100 if anyone wants bits, not many panels, but 99% mechanically complete and a good motor/tyres/wheels etc

now the want, and it's a biggie....... 1974 Z1A exhaust needed, aftermarket or original (yeh, right!!), and in better condition than the one i got already

I had to get on a pushbike yesterday for the first time in 15 years, 12 miles to work and 12 miles home was not fun, wasnt fit to work for about 2 hours after I arrived. asthmatic and with a mild heart problem I dont think that this sudden burst of exercise was very good LOL, I get tired and have to sit down after going up and down the stairs 3 times.

if god had intended us to do things like that he would never have created the man that created the engine!

There's a couple on ebay too. Failing that, get the angle grinder out and visit the breakers for an half decent 4 into1 to cannibalise. :)

Was mine so I know it didn't do a lot of miles after it got through the MOT so as Kajir said should be no probs with a new one.
That bike gave me wonderful service in the 7 years I have owned it.

I too love the bike and have been looking forward for a long, long time to getting it back on the road.
