Hey Chaz, for flights i paid £82 return, flying out thursday, coming back Tuesday flying with www.thomsonfly.com/
It will be very quiet around the campsite after monday noon.
anyone else considering the flight option and ain`t booked, can i suggest you either fly in weds/thurs and return sun pm or mon am.
Jet2 (http://www.jet2.com) fly out of leeds/bradford and manchester. also www.thomsonfly.com/ will fly out of the sortly to be opened (april) doncaster airport. these give you the option of landing late weds in faro, and returning sun late pm after the show closes.
the easyjet flights out of East mids are a 6am/8am flight  (too early)
and easyjet fly out of various other UK airports up to twice a day.
Oh, did I mention you could get the flights for £39rtn inc taxes.
and that theres a 3* hotel with swimming pool and B+B for £20 pppn, less than 1/2 mile from the site, and several other hotels within 1 mile.
Shhhhhhhh but thats a secret.

might be worth the effort to ride down then, prolly by the scenic route and take in a few other sights and visit peeps ;) near lake constance (germany/swiss border)
i want to go but want to ride (and sail) there
so hopefully all going well with the new build faro 2006 might be an option

Don't forget, Yoda, that the ferry companies will try and charge you the car price for a trike.

on a lighter note, anyone whos goin to faro,
and maybe thinking of getting themselves a new leather jacket etc at some point this year, there was a good selection of cheap, good quality leather jackets on sale. repsol jackets with armour. where around 60 euros.

And lots of gaffer tape, apparently. I think there are some trikes going this year. In previous years, when there's only been one or two trikes on the BSH Run,I think we've pleaded ignorance when we've got to the ferry, but P&O have cottoned onto the fact that three wheels tends to take up more space than two so now we are having to charge a bit extra for trikes. :(

Hello all
Just joined and am heading for Faro, Anyone taking the chicken route, ferry to Santander then down through Spain.
I am riding with a couple of guys coming from Canada and meeting up with the rest (20) of our idiot bunch riding from dover.
If any one is taking the Santander route let me know, perhaps we can meet up and ride together.
