Well, I've had it just over two weeks now and it's a feckin' riot! I haven't ridden anything that's made me grin so much in a long, long time ...
Got just short of 1200 miles on the clock now and really starting to get the hang of it - it's not necessarily an easy thing to ride as it needs total concentration the whole time (well, it does round 'ere anyway 'cos the roads are like a bear's arse - took to the Midlands yesterday and by God you notice the roads away from here are a lot better!), but it is probably the most fun on wheels I've had for as long as I can remember.
It's best, I find, to ride it like a bike and hang off (or at least shift your upper body anyway) in the direction of the bend, just like you would on two wheels, as doing it any other way just feels wrong, if you know what I mean. It likes to go quickly and it's easier to ride the faster you go, and the handling is so confidence-inspiring that you find yourself barrelling along at a fair old rate - took the S-bend from the M25 onto the M11 at an indicated 57mph the other day (and probably could've gone faster, but was laughing too hard).
Bad things about it - well, there are a couple, but they're so minor they're barely worth mentioning: I keep catching me right foot on the right rear passenger grab rail and I have a feeling that it's going to end up looking a bit shabby unless I'm really careful; and the fact that I have to keep cleaning it! Washed and dried it three times now - can't get used to this, I can tell you!
So, overall, brilliant thing - one of the most fun machines I've ever ridden! :D:D
