I suppose we are gonna get this rammed up our arse for the next 6 months and we will all be expected to wave our little Union Jacks.
Hopefully they will go to the church in a nice fast Mercedes. :D

Feck the pair of them. He drove Diane (who seemed a bit unstable anyway) to the edge of a breakdown with his adultery, while Horseface cheated on her old man. Then we are supposed to look up to these inbred fuckwits as our betters. Royal Chavs, that's all they are. He should be made to abdicate his claim to the throne like his uncle. Would be even better if they were exiled like them too.......

Well said - He should bugger off somewhere else with horse face and stop taking taxpayers money to support his rich lifestyle. They destroyed Diana and havn't even had the decency to apologise....I suppose they deserve each other though....They are both **** heads. i happen to want to keep our royal family,,,,with all their faults they have good points too
i am a bit shocked at the venom directed at people lately,,,,is it something in the water,,, or is it coz we need summer to come a bit early?

Old Charlie gave me a few quid when I was a kid ( I won some Youth business thing he did) - so I got no gripes. If you "take" then you must "give back" and I believe he does.

I think it's rather nice he's found happiness with a woman who loves the same things he does (even if it's hunting down and kiling small animals). So I'll drink to 'em.
I'm so utterly fed up with people saying why did charles choose an older plainer woman over diana blah, blah and making out she's some kind of mother Theresa. What the feck have looks got to do with anything. I'd rather go out with quasimodo if he was a good laugh (no reference to Mitch there) than some handsome iron pumping conceited twat I had nothing in common with.
I always loathed Diana anyway, I thought she was a vacuous sloan bimbo with the morals of an alley cat who's main interest in life appeared to be shopping, holidays and attention seeking (sorry if that causes offence - just my opinion!).

If we have to pay for them, all I expect is that they do their jobs, i.e. live up to their duties and don't embarass the nation. After that, good luck to them. This is the 21st century, surely everyone in this country has the right to choose their own partner.
Having said that, there should be some kind of Royal watchdog or review board to watch over the royals...one with real powers, i.e. the ability to impose fines and sanctions when they screw up, a la some of Harry's latest exploits.
If the review board was appointed by the British people at least that would give us some kind of democratic voice in the monarchy. :cool:

I'm not talking about 'moral' behaviour, I mean a kind of watchdog who can act in a similar way to the FA acts if a footballer brings the sport into disrepute. The Royals represent Britain, and have to be held to a higher standard because we pay them to be symbolic of the nation's credibility when acting as ambassadors and trading with other nations.
I just don't like the idea of my hard-earned cash supporting a spoiled little chav who punches photographers, smokes dope in public, and dresses like a Nazi (especially with his heritage).
If Harry wants to act like a rock star he should be allowed to, but not on my quid...

Which makes me wonder why you are so suprised at the reactions here.
I have nothing against the royals, per se, but as Head of The Church of England and Defender of the Faith (in waiting) I think that he should have taken her when he had the chance, or at least stopped screwing her during the first year or so. That way he could have given his marriage a chance. If it didn't work out, fair enough, go for a divorce and shack up with Clamidia. I am Old and wise enough to realise that Diana was no saint ( and very likely unstable as well) but how many women would put up with their husband shagging another woman and keep quiet, for the sake of the 'Family'. I have never thought Charles was fit to be king, even before he met Diana, in fact I will be staking my claim and demanding a DNA test (through Ewokandtuck DNA Laboratries PLC) as I believe I was swapped with Charles at birth. Do you wonder that I am so bitter.......... :confused:
