Ahhh, it's not so bad apart from the agony and bleeding and stuff and you can probably have your family running around after you for weeks if you pretend yur too ill to move from yur sick bed!!!
If those nurses try to make you eat toast post op tell them to p**s off, they'll tell you it's to clear the gunk from your throat but they are talking bollox - it's like trying to eat glass shards.
No one ever died or got any serious infections from just eating ice cream post operatively. The toast thing is a daft modern fad - just say NO!!!
I'm in next month having a suspicious mole removed from my leg.
