magneto/flywheel

I hope this isn't a stupid question but here goes ,i have got to take the flywheel off my virago to do the starter clutch repair but what i'm not sure of is will the timing need resetting after the flywheel has been removed?:o

shouldnt do mate
it should be keyed into one place only

just dont forget the woodruff key when ya put it back together
