As seen on tv:)

Ello, sun is starting to shine and i'm on the tout for some work. Below is a pic of my pride and joy, and I'm looking for weekend rallies anywhere in the country at the moment.

To cover the cost of fuel etc, rallies have to be at least the saturday and sunday, so no one nighters please....unless they are like 50 miles from wrexham:)

so please, if you are a club member and think you could use me at your rally, or you know of a rally that I can approach then please get back to me, either by pm, email, this thread, my phone number 01978 750854 (not before 12 noon please or after 2 am), and I need at least 2 weeks notice in most cases to sort out the local health authorities.

thanks in advance

Pennywise

On the 9 -12th of September it is the 10th Soggy Moggy at Wood Green Animal shelter. We had a tattoo artist last year but if you ring Stella on 01707 893934 she'll be able to tell you what the score is as regards this years do.

We usually have about 750 for the weekend.

An idea for TT week at IOM maybe.....

http://www.manxtattoo.com/

This usually lasts for a week - if you're interested?

It would probably be a good idea......think the cost on the ferry might be a bit on the steep side. What I'll do is mail the dude whos got the shop there and see if I will be stepping on his toes, or wether its ok with him...ill let you ken how i get on

Dexxie Update for you, i spoke to simon of manxtattoo, funny who you know when you speak to em, even stranger who knows who.

say i did the farmyard, it would cost me about £200 in diesel, the cost for the gig, say £250 and then expenses....expenses dont count for now

"this is a quote from simon to me via email"

The TT is a hectic week over here i usually run a tattoo convention but cant this
year due to no available venue :-(

It would really make no difference to me if you would work mobile during the TT i
appreciate you emailing me that was good of you , Thanks..... But.........

The people you will really have to check with is the Isle of Man Goverment there will
be a couple of issues ,,,,

1.. Health .. You will have to register yourself as a tattooist on the island

2..Work Permits .. You have to have a work permit to work on the Isle of Man

3.. Travel Costs .. The Van on the boat that time of year will be approx £400 quid
return if when you get to the boat they make a decision that you are a commercial
venture they will not let you on unless you pay commercial rates ,,, Hope your
sitting down ,,,, Approx £1200 return during the TT fortnight

4.. All of the above checked ,, Ok the last thing is a Traders Permit for the TT
fortnight i am Manx so do not need one but i believe they are in the region of
£2000 pounds ....

The Isle of Man although part of the Uk has its own goverment and makes it's own laws
and because the TT is a Bonus for all local businesses they brought in all of the
above as a form of protection , you can check it all out by phoning the Goverment
Direct on 01624685685 ..

My number is ????????????? if you do make it over give me a shout and we will meet up
for a diet coke ,, i used to work the Farmyard and Stormin the Castle Bike Rallies
and still Pop over to Work at The Satan Slaves Bashes and Hells Angels Conventions..

All the Best .... Simon

Do you do tattoos locally? (Wrexham)

If so, any pics of your work? Gieger Biomechanical stuff is main intrest. Don't mind the artist going a bit nuts either, adding what they think looks good.

EDIT: Nevermind... finally saw the big letters on the side of your bus... DOH!

Pennywise
21-02-2005, 12:35 PM
the letters are a bit of a give away.....I've done othe black and grey work other than whats on the site........but its tracking down the people to take pictures of the healed pieces.......but if you want real giger locally you are going to have to go to nick at artistic mate.......good luck in your quest
