If it passes a SVA you don't need a MOT for 3 years as its classed as a new vehicle.

Cheers chaps, Just about to get the tax & reg, (taxed from may 1st) just want the good weather now. Trike should pass first time if you do your job as well as you can, but like MOT, you never know until you take it. Exhaust scraped thru on the limit so I've had a go at quieting it down a little more, (emphasis on the little  )but yeah just wanna ride it now, so here's hoping the paperwork turns up tomorrow or Saturday, the nice lady at DVLA was putting it straight in the post for me. When I've been out & about I'll get some more piccys, I have already posted a few but you can't have too many. Are you sure about the MOT not needed for three years, that'll help offset the cost of SVA :thumbu:

Errr, sorry Borg, checked with DVLA, and although classed as a new vehicle, because it's made with old parts it needs an MOT. Maybe if it was made with brand new parts but not old. Just fettling the beast now :D

Ha Ha! managed 5 miles and then found output shaft bearings buggered. My own fault, I thought there was too much play should have done them during the build up, still parts on order, these things come to try us huh!
