My personal choice for 300ccs per pot is to clean out all that synthetic shit they put in and use good honest 20w50 mineral oil about £7 per gallon and change it after the first 1000 miles then about evry 5000 miles unless you have hammered it on a long run of about 1-2000 miles then change it as a thank you for being a good girl...
Every expert will tell you to use semi synth 15w40..
They will give you great facts and figures..probably worked out by the oil companies that sell expensive semi synth oil...
So I will shut up and let you do what you want..

tbh on a shell bearing crank motor like the bandit, i would go for what the makers recommend for it. i use halfords semi synth in my shell crank motors. roller crank stuff like gs and gsx motors will run on any old mineral oil, if you change it often enough. but on a gsxr lump like the bandit, i would opt for the semi synth but dont go daft buying anything uber fancy. i recon the halfords is ok, but thats just my choice, im sure there are cheaper semi synth bike oils out there.
