I've got a few gigs next weekend tho they're dotted around a little - ha!

Friday nite I'll be playin' in Earls Bar, Earls St, Maidstone from around 8pm for an hour as part of the Wat Tyler Folk Festival.

Saturday I'll be playin' early afternoon at the Chopper Club Shires Show in Market Drayton

Sunday nite I'll be back in Maidstone at The Corn Exchange supporting The Strawbs - I should be onstage around 9pm so I'm told. Jus' a short 1/2 hour set. Tho if I get back to Maidstone earlier in the afternoon I may well end up playin' a a couple of venues where they're gonna have open mic spots. All of this is also part of the Wat Tyler Folk Festival.

It's a bit of a runaround but should be fun.

I think Forest Fred took a few pics whilst I was playin' at the Welsh National. And yes, I was wearin' that thing. I have a recipient for it now tho, an' she'll be gettin' it in the next couple of days as I do not want to be wearin' it this weekend thanx.

What did he add to it? As you are still quite new, I'd better remind everyone just in case... you have to add something that says 'you' and then pass it on to next forum member you meet, preferably in as public a place as possible... humiliation is the name of the game here. :D

ah well I shouldn't tell tales out of school, but he added a mandolin string (G string methinks) - very apt - on both counts

and a plectrum

but

he brought it to me at home

however my 19 year old daughter thought it was very funny

next one on the list I might not see until Sept.

but then

he'll have to bring it to the forum meet
