Just been to do my good deed for the day and service my mate's 900 sprint.

Picked it up -Clacking it's bollocks off when starter engages - I told him sounds like the spragg clutch gone. Looking in my manual - it's a crankcase split to do it. This model is on an M regd and doesn't have the inspection cover like my L regd Trident does.
Anybody done one before?
Cost of parts?

Cheers!

Frightening!

Rang Triumph this morn to get the info on this spragg clutch conversion.
Then spoke to numerous local dealers - work times from 8 hours to 16 hours to do the job , and I don't think any of them had ever done one!

So , just spent half an hour on the phone with a very helpfull geezer called Sandy at Triumphant Motorcycles in South Wales. Sorted!
This is the second time he's taken the time to offer free advice and I'm impressed!
