lol so I go to "who's online", and it says there are 20 users online,
it's set to 20 per page but at the bottom of the page there's a guest,
meaning there's only 19 users I can see.

ok here's how it works

guests can read all the posts, but have to register to actually post anything themselves

the 'ignore' button can be applied to individuals and means you can't read the posts of someone who you've added to your ignore list


unless someone else quotes them of course

No, what they will probably do, is email someone else, and then someone else emails another person all saying the same thing "put this person on ignore (for whatever reason)" and voila - job done !! :rolleyes:
