1994 600 shadow

Hi ppl im having my frame powdercoated on my 1994 honda 600 shadow but cant get my ignition off my frame theres no bolts or anything to take it off any thoughts as havent got a clue?

Earlier models had two shear bolts to hold the lock in place. These are under a removable cover. The heads break off when you tighten the bolts so they look like rivets. These need to be drilled out. Not sure about later models though.

If you can get to the heads of the shear bolts , slot them and use an impact driver with flat blade attachemt or chisel . I've never found any that difficult , and I've changed plenty on car ignitions where it tighter for space . As long as you get a good initial shock it will undo pretty well .
