Coffin/prism rocket style fuel tank for a Trike/chop chopper or custom.done in a similar style to early arlen ness
bay area type lowrider.would probably cost you several hundreds (if not more!!!!!) to have made.
It is already bolted (via rubber isolation mountings) onto a piece of m/s tubing which was going to be my top tube.
Fuel tank measures approx 28" overall
12" wide at extreme rear
top is 9" at rear and 3" at front
height at rear approx 7"
height at front/narrow end 2"
length of top panel 23"
tubing inch & 7/8 x 31" length
a trike or retro lowrider hardtail chop would look fantastic with this fitted.
It is manufactured from stainless steel it will need some finishing before paint.
Has been leak tested at work at about 1.5 bar pressure, though for peace of mind i would recommend a quick splosh of petseal or similar product prior to use. It's fitted with a honda cb650 fuel cap - and yes i have the key for it
there is some pitting to the fuel cap,i'm sure you would want to do this tank justice by fitting a brand
new one anyway cost about £15 from the dreaded evil bay
yamaha (fz1000?) fuel tap fitted.
This is a large and heavy tank, so collection
preferred, cash on collection ok but no haggling once price agreed
good news - have found out it will cost around £20 to post though i do have motorcycle related injuries which preclude
me from lifting or carrying this anywhere,my son has agreed to help out
any questions or more pics required please mail n ask
