If you've seen the articles in the mag I've been writing about the Reliant trike I'm building, you'll have been looking at some 2D representations of the model I'm working on.
This isn't it, it's a bunch of jpegs stitched together to give a bit of the flavour of the full 3D thingy, but I thought it might get the point across a bit better.

How easy is sketch up to learn? I've seen your cad stuff on TCU and it looks good, but I prefer to work by eye when I'm building stuff because the idea is clear in my head. It seems like the best thing to use to put your ideas across to others.

Compared to verything else I've looked at, its a doddle.

Should give you the idea.
Usually I just build 'em too. But a lot of people who are interested in having a go aren't happy about working that way. I'm exploring this as a way of ending up with the fabled "plans"...
