Mrs MD rides her own large bike.
But occassionally, I will put the "Bitch Pad" on the back of the Harley and we'll go out together - but she doesn't want me to fit a sissy bar (neither do I - spoils the line of the bike) :D

I like my women to hold on tight - makes up for my missus, who'll only hold onto the grab rail.

I used to take Mitch out on the back of my old bike and preferred him to hold the sissy bar, and not move....or breath, it was a bit precarious to be honest with you :D

my wife (bless her :) ) refused to go anywhere on a bike with me for years until our daughter got older. when i got the vtx and she jumped on the back i kind of forgot how much grunt it had so by the time we got to our destination she looked quite ashen ;) so to keep her on the back i reluctantly fitted a sissy bar and it does indeed spoil the lines.

I generally would just love to hold on to the crotch area (inner leg) or maybe hubby's thigh unless it's a smoooooooth ride..
a I am riding but hmmmmmm....more so looks like the love dovey handles or belt loop helps..except when he takes off fast!..whew!..hang on TIGHT!..

No woman, or man, has ever volunteered to ride pillion with me!
As I have a Fazer 600, they have their own grab handle, so a sissy ber would look a bit silly really!

Had a grab rail built into the sports rack on the Duke. needed it as the front would look for the sky on energetic take offs. Lads VFR 400 R only had one of those strap thingies in the middle of the saddle, he crapped himself a few times, especially going into a roundabout with the front wheel in the air..... Was riding my own XV 535 as well (not at the same time, silly) so used to forget the POWEEEEEER that the 400 had. Rev limiter cut in at 135mph and we hit it more than a few times.......

I always thought the extra bit of seat behind the rider was just for strapping your tent and sleeping bag etc to. You really mean to say it's meant for a passenger?
